I now realize why I kept putting it off as it has taken me two days to sort out the illustrations! 			<description><![CDATA[ the germans I think were the first to decide that the tank commander shouldnt have to do anything else, otherWW2 tanks had the commander sometimes having also to load the gun or drive the tank, so the germans were prepared to have 1 more member of their tank crews than others<br><br>what happens now, are tank commanders required to do other things also? ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Does using a wheeled chassis have any detrimental effect on either accuracy or rate of fire? <br><br>With a tracked chassis it is possible to lock out the suspension and have a very rigid firing platform. With a wheeled platform the resilient tires are going to create some rebound. How long would it take for gun to settle down for a second shot and what happens with a fully automatic gun where shots come so close together that wheel rebound might, possibly, establish harmonic oscillations? ]]></description>
