I have a quick question. My knowledge of the Spanish-American war is a bit sub-par. However, for whatever reason I had it filed away that the Spanish forces in Cuba were, in addition to being supplied with German made weapons such as the Mauser rifle, maxim machine gun, and 75mm mountain cannon, were also being assisted by German advisors who actually were engaged in the conflict, including San Juan/Kettle Hill.

I remember how we looked down at "that darned squirrel hunting rifle", how the pilots hated saying goodby the the Phantoms, and I hear from friends the Army, Marines, and Navy is even worse. As they were/are much older and have many more traditions they like to hold on to.
